RESEARCH

Is the submission of grants and contracts impacted by the Covid-19 situation?
Investigators should be aware of the potential impact of the Covid-19 on OSP personnel (self quarantine, primary school closures etc.) that could significantly impact the speed of grant review. Early submissions are strongly encouraged.
The Office of Sponsored Projects has produced a FAQ that addresses issues relating to grants and contracts.

Are their new policies and procedures regarding the performance of research and alerations in research infrastructure?
Dr. Jaffe issued a memo to Principal Investigators that details policies and procedures in response to the Covid-19 situation. As Dr. Jaffe indicates, events are evolving each day and policies may change. As a researcher, It is your responsibility to check the VPR FAQ site regularly and comply with University policy. At this time, the College of Pharmacy is not instituting any more stricter guidance on top of the VPR policy.
