Research Interests
- My research interest is focused on understanding how the resident immune cell of the brain, known as microglia, contributes to neurogenesis and recovery following alcohol use disorder
Why did you choose UT PharmTox?
- I chose UT PharmTox because it's the best program at the best school! They also provided me with the perfect place to continue my scientific journey and pursue research related to substance use disorder, a topic I'm passionate about
What do you enjoy outside of school?
- When I am not in the lab, I like going to concerts, listening to music in traffic, eating at my favorite restaurants, going to the park to fly kites, and playing with my two pups
