Assistant Dean for Experiential Education & Open-Rank Clinical Professor
Academic Affairs and Division of Pharmacy Practice
The College of Pharmacy invites applications for the Assistant Dean for Experiential Education. Experiential education is a required component of the professional Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) curriculum, providing experiences in pharmacy practice under the guidance of preceptor faculty. The Assistant Dean for Experiential Education will be also appointed as a professional track clinical faculty member in the Division of Pharmacy Practice at a rank consistent with qualifications and experience.
Assistant or Associate Professor
Division of Pharmacology & Toxicology
The Division of Pharmacology & Toxicology invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in the Assistant or Associate Professor rank with research emphasis in cancer or cancer-related areas. Candidates with particular interest related to cancer include (but are not limited to) obesity, immunology, microbiome, cancer development and progression, DNA damage, repair and genomic instability are specifically encouraged to apply.
Clinical Open-Rank Professor in Oncology
Division of Pharmacy Practice
The Division of Pharmacy Practice is seeking to fill one clinical faculty position at the rank of assistant, associate, or professor (depending on qualifications) for a full-time Oncology faculty position. This position is located in Austin, Texas and will be co-funded with the Dell Medical School (DMS) LIVESTRONG Cancer Institute (LCI) and with a practice site at LCI’s clinic within UT Health Austin.
Anticipated start: July 2023
Regional Coordinators
Experiential Education
Pharmacy Experiential Education is a required component of the professional doctorate of pharmacy (Pharm.D.) curriculum. Regional Coordinators in the College of Pharmacy are Adjunct Assistant Professors of Pharmacy Practice in part-time, non-benefits eligible positions. Internship regions are:
- Austin / Temple / Waco
- Dallas / Fort Worth
- Galveston / Houston
- Rio Grande Valley
- San Antonio
The Regional Directors supervise the local team of Regional Coordinators to develop and manage the internship components of experiential requirements.
