Carrie Cunningham, M.Ed.

Carrie Cunningham serves as Assistant Dean for Administration and Business, as well as Chief Business Officer and Chief of Staff for the College of Pharmacy at The University of Texas at Austin. Her responsibilities as Assistant Dean include the oversight of all administrative and business operations, including budget and finance, communications, faculty affairs, facilities, Human Resources and Information Technology services. Carrie joined the college in November 2020, after nearly 12 years of staff service at the university, most previously as the Assistant Director for the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Carrie’s expertise areas include compassionate leadership with a focus on business efficiency, strategic resourcing and best practices. She deeply enjoys developing and mentoring staff towards operational excellence in mission-driven roles. Carrie earned a BA from The University of Texas at Austin in Anthropology (2007) and a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership (formerly Educational Administration), also from UT (2015).
