After graduating from the St. Louis college of Pharmacy, Dr. Gawrys completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at the VA Hudson Valley HealthCare System in Castle Point, NY, and then a PGY2 residency in infectious diseases at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. Since August 2013, he has served as an infectious disease clinical pharmacy specialist coordinating antimicrobial stewardship efforts within Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio. He is also the residency program director for the PGY1 pharmacy presidency program at Methodist Hospital and Methodist Children’s Hospital
