The 21st Annual Louis C. Littlefield Celebrating Pharmacy Research Excellence Day highlights the accomplishments of College of Pharmacy researchers at all levels: undergraduate, Pharm.D. and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows & residents, as well as research staff and faculty. 

Keynote Scientific Lecture
The Keynote Scientific Lecture will be given by Kerry LaPlante, Pharm.D., FCCP, FIDSA, FIDP, Dean and Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy and founding director of the Rhode Island Infectious Diseases Antibiotic Research Program at the Providence VA Medical Center.  Dr. LaPlante's lecture is titled, "The Secret Life of a PI."

Distinguished Faculty Lecture
The Distinguished Faculty Lecture will be given by Texas Pharmacy's Feng Zhang, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Molecular Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery.  Dr. Zhang's lecture is titled, "Application of Material Sciences in Developing Long-Acting Implants."
