The art and science of discovery took center stage April 26 as the College of Pharmacy hosts Research Day 2016. The 12th Annual Louis C. Littlefield Celebrating Pharmacy Research Excellence Day features distinguished lectures by Dr. Karen Vasquez, head of the college’s Division of Pharmacology & Toxicology, and by Dr. Anthony Hickey, professor emeritus from the University of North Carolina School of Pharmacy. The showcase continues by highlighting research efforts among the UT College of Pharmacy’s Pharm.D., graduate, residencies and fellowships as they fill the ballroom at the Student Activities Center with posters depicting a wide range of topics.
