Tatiana Makhinova, a graduate student in the Health Outcomes and Pharmacy Practice Division, was cited as having the best podium presentation at the annual spring meeting of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).
The researcher was cited for her study, “Development of an Adherence Enhancement Program for Patients with Asthma in Community Pharmacy Practice: Instruments and Pharmacists’ Feedback.” The work, part of a study toward her doctorate degree, was developed under the guidance of Dr. Jamie Barner, professor of health outcomes and pharmacy practice,
