Why UTCOP HOD?

  • I chose to stay at UTCOP because of the faculty - they opened my eyes to the field of health outcomes research, helped me explore my research interests, and inspired me (continue to) with their passion for achieving health equity and improving patient outcomes. They are truly invested in their students' growth not only in career but also in life. I love the division’s commitment to diversity, family-like environment, and mentorship from the upperclassmen as well.

What do you enjoy outside of school?

  • I like trying new coffee shops in Austin, traveling, going on walks, and spending time with my family.
