Kiyoung Kim, PhD, MPH, is a Data Analyst with the PhARM Program and TxCORE at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. He earned his PhD and MS in Exercise Physiology from The University of Texas at Austin and his MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Texas A&M University. He completed postdoctoral training at Boston University School of Medicine and as an NIH T32 Postdoctoral Trainee at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine.

Dr. Kim’s expertise spans epidemiology, biostatistics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cardiovascular health, hypertension, and health outcomes research. At UT, his work focuses on opioid use disorder and opioid prescribing, including real-world evaluation of clinical and patient-reported outcomes, as well as applied data analytics for population health research through TxCORE.
