Nishi Viswanathan, M.B.B.S., M.A., MBA

Dr. Nishi Viswanathan is a medical doctor turned cancer researcher turned entrepreneur & business professional. She is the founder & director of Texas Health Catalyst, a program that advances promising healthcare technologies from idea to impact. In this role, Nishi mentors innovators across all healthcare verticals and manages several key strategic partnerships at Dell Medical School and UT Austin. Prior to joining Dell Medical School, Nishi was the Director of Marketing and Business Development at a nanotechnology startup that developed theranostic solutions for cancer imaging and drug delivery.  Over the past decade, she has consulted with several life science startups including university spinouts, working on marketing, business development & commercialization. In addition to her medical degree, she holds a master’s degree from the College of Natural Sciences at UT Austin and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin.
