Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Sciences

Olivia Ramey is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Pharmacotherapy Division of the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. She has a practice site at University Health, where she provides clinical services for patients in the primary care setting. 

Dr. Ramey is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy. After earning her Doctor of Pharmacy, she went on to complete a two-year academic fellowship at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, focusing on practice-based research in the areas of pharmacotherapy and health outcomes. Dr. Ramey also completed two years of residency training, specializing in ambulatory care, at Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, Indiana. She is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS). 

Dr. Ramey has a passion for mentoring learners as they discover their interests, hone their clinical and research skills, and pursue opportunities to make an impact. She strives to empower her patients with knowledge and confidence to improve their health. Dr. Ramey’s primary clinical interest is chronic disease management and its intersections with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and social determinants of health.
