Vision: As part of the College of Pharmacy DEAI Committee, the Global Social Club will work to promote the diversity of people, beliefs, and ideas through activities and interactions that highlight both the uniqueness and common humanity of our community and the world around us. We intend for the Global Social Club to be a welcoming and enlightening space for all who participate.
Join the DEAI Committee’s first book club! Our focus is to read to become more knowledgeable, empathetic, and open-minded leaders and health care providers! For the month of April, we will be reading Uniquely Human by Barry M. Prizant, Ph.D, a book about autism. Anyone can join the meeting regardless of whether they’ve read none, half, or all of the book. We are excited to hear your thoughts and look forward to seeing you at our next meeting!
