Lunchtime Movie Short Viewing & Discussion (Trigger-Warning)

As we aim to cultivate a culture of genuine care to those whom we serve AND one another, it’s imperative that we have some courageous conversations. Conversations that are respectful but uncensored; communally facilitated but open and authentic. 

 

Indeed, we each confront unique traumas in our lived experiences and some communities experience and have been experiencing collective trauma.  For those who are not accustomed to the shared experience of communal trauma, it may be more challenging to engage these topics in a supportive way.

 

The College of Pharmacy community is invited to attend a movie short viewing of Two Distant Strangers (29 minutes long) via Zoom and a post-discussion this Friday, 4/16 from 12-1pm. 

 

We will be courageous and we will go deep around the traumas of police violence on Black bodies; please note this trigger-warning.  Please attend only if you have a desire to genuinely connect, engage, and plan to be fully present to hear and share lived truths to advance healing.
