Coleman graduated magna cum laude with departmental honors from the Chemistry department of the University of Oregon. He then earned a Master’s degree in Polymer Sciences from the University of Oregon before joining Lonza Pharma and Biotech in Bend, Oregon. At Lonza, his responsibilities included Chemistry Lead of a formulation and analytical development team for a small-molecule drug product. Coleman joined Dr. Fang Zhang’s group at the University of Texas in 2022 where he is researching long-acting biodegradable drug delivery products.
