Dr. Huiliang (Evan) Wang is an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining UT Austin, he did his postdoc with Karl Deisseroth at Stanford Bioengineering and completed a Ph.D. degree with Zhenan Bao at Stanford Materials Science and Engineering. He has received several awards since he started his position at UT Austin, including the National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award, NIH R35 Maximizing Investigators’ Research Award (MIRA), and MIT Technology Review 35 under 35 (China).
