Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice Amanda Stallings, Pharm.D. has been recognized by TPA as this year’s recipient of the Distinguished Service Award, honoring her significant contribution to the profession. She was nominated by her peers and selected by a committee of the TPA Association Affairs Council.

"I am incredibly honored to receive this award. Service to the pharmacy profession is not just ancillary to my role as a pharmacist and educator, but an integral of who I am as a professional. I learned early in my training and career how vital professional engagement is from many mentors who also exhibited extraordinary dedication to the profession of pharmacy.

I am grateful to be engaged in professional service at the local, state and national level. I have cultivated many enduring and flourishing relationships from my time in professional organizations. I also feel a deep commitment and fulfillment to serving the greater healthcare community by volunteering in underserved clinics and healthcare screening events. Professional engagement is not just a duty, but a calling for me and this award is a reflection of that mentality!"
