Sponsor a White Coat for a New Student Pharmacist

On stage at a white coat ceremony, a pharmacy student puts on her first white coat with the help of a faculty member.
This August, the College of Pharmacy will welcome more than 120 students into the Class of 2030 at the annual White Coat Ceremony—a milestone event marking the beginning of their path toward becoming compassionate, skilled pharmacists and healthcare providers. This year marks the 6th Annual College of Pharmacy White Coat Campaign, and you can help make this moment even more special by sponsoring a student's first white coat.

Becoming a sponsor is a meaningful way for Texas Pharmacy alumni and friends to connect with incoming students—and future Longhorn alumni. A gift of $50 or more provides one white coat for an aspiring professional at the start of their pharmacy journey.

As a sponsor, you also have the opportunity to include a personal note of congratulations and encouragement, placed inside a student's white coat pocket. It's a message they'll carry with them into one of the most memorable days of their pharmacy school experience.

To Sponsor a White Coat:

  • Make your gift online. Each sponsorship is $50 and covers the cost of one white coat.
  • You may sponsor more than one white coat.
  • After donating, you will receive a follow-up email in July with a link to the White Coat Note Form.
  • Please note, the deadline to sponsor a white coat is Friday, July 10, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

Last year's incoming P1 students (pictured above) received their white coats at no cost thanks to the generosity of alumni and friends of the college! Will you help us provide the same experience for this year's class? Hook 'em Horns!
