T32 Events - Alcohol Research Training Grant

Glass beakers and test tubes with alcohol

The Alcohol T32 program hosts several events.

Alcohol Journal Club:
This group now meets select Fridays at 10:00 am to discuss current literature in alcohol research.  Objectives are to gain knowledge by reading and reviewing recent literature in alcohol research; develop and practice critical thinking skills required for evaluation of a research report; and develop and practice the ability to lead and engage in constructive scientific discussion.

Lunch and Learn Series:
The T32 Lunch & Learn series meets at noon on 3rd Thursdays.  Meetings alternate between Works in Progress (WIP) talks by trainees and topical presentations by PIs covering career development, research topics, and more.

Joint T32 Rigor & Reproducibility Series:
The Joint T32 Rigor & Responsibility Series includes the other T32 programs across campus and meets monthly during the long semesters.  Various topics are covered by all of the T32 PIs.
