Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice Claire Latiolais, Pharm.D., M.S. is the recipient of the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacy (TSHP) 2025 Pharmacy Mentor Award. A pharmacist earns this award by demonstrating active involvement in the professional growth and development of other pharmacy practitioners, residents, fellows or students as it relates to the provision of patient care.

Assistant Dean for Curriculum and Assessment and Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice Ashley Castleberry, Pharm.D., M.Ed. was part of a team of authors who won this year's Rufus A. Lyman Award from the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP).

The graduate portfolio program in pharmacoengineering is an interdisciplinary effort that bridges expertise in pharmaceutics, chemistry, engineering, biochemistry, biologics and drug metabolism. The goal is to use new technology to develop next-generation, personalized treatments to ensure patients receive optimal dosages delivered to the precise part of the body that needs help — reducing harmful side effects and increasing their efficacy. The program is a collaboration between the Cockrell School of Engineering, College of Natural Sciences and College of Pharmacy.

A team of UT Austin student pharmacists took the top prize for the Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Competition during this year’s annual NCPA convention.

Associate Dean for Healthcare Partnerships Dr. Diane Ginsburg received the Harvey A.K. Whitney Lecture Award at ASHP's Pharmacy Futures meeting last week. The award is health-system pharmacy’s highest honor.

Associate Dean for Healthcare Partnerships Dr. Diane B. Ginsburg is the recipient of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists 2024 Harvey A.K. Whitney Lecture Award, ASHP's highest honor. She will receive the award at the ASHP Pharmacy Futures 2024 meeting in June.
