Professional Licensure Disclosures
UT Austin makes every effort to ensure state licensure or certification information is current; however, state requirements may change. If you are planning to pursue professional licensure or certification in a state other than Texas, it is strongly recommended that you contact the appropriate licensing entity in that state to seek information and guidance regarding licensure or certification requirements before beginning an academic program.
For more information on professional licensure requirements in the field, please contact Renee Acosta, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs or visit UT Austin’s professional licensure disclosure page.

Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)
The UT Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
The National Association of Boards of Pharmacy administers the NAPLEX® (North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination) and the MPJE® (Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination). In order to sit for these licensure exams, students must have graduated from an ACPE-accredited college/school of pharmacy. In addition to these exams, each state may have different licensure requirements, including a state-specific pharmacy law exam.
