Community Partners
Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin
Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin is a healthcare system dedicated to healthcare transformation through innovation across the continuum of care. Pharmacy Practice’s Dr. Kristin Janzen acts as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Internal Medicine and precepts IPPE and APPE students along with residents.
CommUnityCare
CommUnityCare Health Centers (CUC) are locally-developed health systems of primary care, dental care, and family planning clinics with the mission of strengthening the health and well-being of the communities they serve. Pharmacy Practice Faculty Dr. Kathryn Litten and Dr. Morgan Stewart are among the Clinical Pharmacy providers at CUC and precept IPPE and APPE students along with residents.
H-E-B
The University of Texas College of Pharmacy and H-E-B collaborate on a community-based pharmacy residency program in which post-graduates receive advanced training by experienced pharmacists. Pharmacy Practice’s Dr. Amanda Stallings is the Residency Program Director of the PGY1 Residency Program and provides leadership and guidance to residents.
UT Health Austin
UT Health Austin is the clinical practice of the Dell Medical School and is comprised of a variety of clinics and programs that collaborate with university healthcare professionals and students to provide a high-level quality of care to the community. In collaboration with the College of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Practice Faculty Dr. Samantha Catanzano provides clinical pharmacy expertise within UTHA’s Integrated Behavioral Health.
