For all UT Austin Preceptors*
The College of Pharmacy proudly hosts the annual Preceptor Continuing Education Conference each August for UT Austin pharmacy preceptors. Developed by the Experiential Education Program and Center for Continuing Professional Development, this conference is designed to support and strengthen your role as a preceptor through timely educational content, college updates, and practical strategies to enhance the student learning experience.
Mark your calendars! The 2026 Preceptor Continuing Education Conference will be held on Saturday, August 29, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM (Central). This year, the conference is moving to a fully online format, allowing preceptors to participate through a live Zoom webinar from the comfort of home, the office, or wherever is most convenient.
Participants can earn 3 hours of CPE credit through the live conference. Those looking to extend their learning may also participate in an optional Continuing Professional Development (CPD) pathway and earn up to 10 additional CPE/CPD credits by implementing and reflecting on improvements to their precepting practice throughout the year.
Unable to join us live? All sessions will be recorded and made available on demand in late September, along with presentation slides and supplemental learning resources, allowing participants to access content when it best fits their schedule.
