Cost and Tuition Calculator

Texas One Stop Cost Calculator

The University of Texas at Austin's Texas One Stop center provides a cost and tuition rate calculator.

To assist students with financial planning, the calculator provides various input options for residency status (see example at right).

In addition, the tool offers estimates for non-tuition expenses such as transportation and books.

Living in Austin

According to U.S. News & World Report, Austin is one of the best places to live in the U.S.  Along with being the live music capital of the world, Austin is a hub for high tech companies, government, and education.

Payscale.com's cost of living calculator states that Austin's cost of living is close to the national average.  The calculator also provides helpful estimates for rent, utilities, groceries, and healthcare.
