Ascension Seton, in conjunction with The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy, is offering an ASHP accredited Post Graduate Year 2 (PGY2) Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency. Ascension Seton is a 12-hospital network in Austin and the surrounding Central Texas area. The primary base for the residency program is at Dell Ascension Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas at Austin (a large tertiary care, academic institution and Level 1 trauma center), but residents have the opportunity to complete rotations at some of our community and pediatric hospitals. The residency is designed to provide the resident with an intense, concentrated, and diverse 12-month training program with a focus on antimicrobial stewardship and the clinical application of antimicrobial pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. Required rotations include antimicrobial stewardship, infectious diseases consult service, HIV, pediatric infectious diseases, and adult critical care. Residents will also gain exposure to microbiology lab and infection prevention. Other rotations are available as electives.

For additional information please visit our residency website.

Application Deadline is December 31.
