Ascension Seton, in conjunction with The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy, is offering an ASHP accredited Post Graduate Year 2 (PGY2) Internal Medicine Pharmacy Residency. Ascension Seton is a 12 hospital network in Austin and the surrounding Central Texas area. The primary base for the residency program is at Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas (a large, tertiary care, academic institution and Level I trauma center). However, the resident may gain experience in a variety of inpatient hospital settings with the opportunity to complete rotations at up to four of our community hospitals. The residency is designed to provide the resident with a diverse training program with a focus on Internal Medicine. After the orientation month, residents complete five months of Internal Medicine with one month each of Infectious Diseases, Critical Care, and Cardiology. Other rotations are available as electives. For additional information, please visit our residency website.
