Health Mart offers a Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) Community-based Pharmacy Residency Program (ASHP pre-candidate status). 

Residency practice sites include: Family Pharmacy @ Las Colinas, a Dallas-area Health Mart pharmacy, Office of Health Mart and The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy.

This 12-month program invites passionate, forward-thinking applicants to ignite their careers in a setting that values innovation, leadership, and advancing health outcomes for all.

Requirements and Application Process

Requirements

  • Must graduate from an ACPE-accredited Pharm.D. program and be eligible for Texas pharmacist licensure
  • Should be motivated, capable of working independently, and possess strong communication skills
  • Possess a strong desire to advance independent community pharmacy
  • Aspire to advance your role beyond dispensing – including leadership, innovation, and pharmacy advocacy
